sunglass case: good but could be better Aug 08, 2008 By Luis Mederos
I like that the semi-hard shell protects the sunglasses but gives a little when you need to stuff it in a bag.

My biggest complaint is that it should have a velcro or hook so it can be attached to my backpack -- the tiny loops of fine thread just don't give me any confidence.

I use this case every day, switching between my normal glasses, and prescription sun glasses every time I go outside.

So far the material and zipper have held up great. It is a little bulky, but I just keep it my jacket at the moment.

I'll probably add a small hook to the loops in the summer and just attach it to my belt.

I've dropped, squeezed, etc this case a lot and it's still holding up great and nothing I've had inside it was ever damaged.

I highly recommend it.

The case is a soft-shell, if slightly more durable than the ordinary soft-shell; it's still a soft-shell. Be careful if you want to put your sunglasses in this in your backpack... they might get bent.

All-in-all, it's a decent case for what it is.
