Shredder Fins Shred Jul 06, 2006

Nice set of fins: Compact (shorter) for fitting in your gear bag, and great power for moving in the water. The large size was a hair too big for my bare size 10 foot. The medium size works better for me. I dive through ocean surf and use fins for safely being able to go where I want instead of being pulled by the current. These are great surf or snorkeling fins!

Swim Fins Jan 09, 2007

I travel to Hawaii quite a bit and was looking for a pair of swim fins that would be easy to pack in a suitcase. They are excellent for that. I have used them for body surfing with a boogie board and for snorkeling. They don't have the power of full size fins and they are a little stiff, but they work well for my purpose.

Extremely happy!!! Apr 05, 2008
By Andy Ordered these fins on 4/4/08 and received them 27 hours later in San Diego, CA with the free 5-9 business day super saver shipping!!! Just in time for the weekend!!! I have always had trouble with fins.. I have purchased 4 pair and they all went back.. none of them fit good, as they all hurt my feet and gave me blisters on my Achilles tendon. I just literally took these out of the box and tried them on 5 seconds ago.. WOW! is all I have to say. These fins are soooooo nice. They are more comfortable then my big cushy everyday skater shoes. Very supple nice foot pocket.. and the neoprene cushion on the back is amazing.. The adjusting straps are also extremely nice.. just put them on and fine tune.. the fit is PERFECT. as is the teather to keep them on your feet.. They are also extremely sturdy and well made.. I don't have to travel with them, except down the street to the beach.. so the weight is a non issue.. they are a lil heavy though.. lets just call these the BMW 7 series of fins.. very comfortable, sturdy and well made with all of the bells and whistles.. Also just noticed these have a 2 year warranty.. If you are looking for surf fins.. don't let the US divers name fool you.. these are way nicer then the ones made by the big bodyboard brands.. buy these.. you won't be sorry!!!!

Good body boarding and body surfing fins Jul 13, 2007
By A. Sinoto I recently lost my original Shredder that had a split blade, but I like this model without the split better. It provides better thrust. These fins are comfortable with the adjustable neoprene straps and comes with the ankle leash so you don't have to buy a separate one. The fins flex enough that even if I'm in the water for several hours, I don't get any cramps. The other surf fins have real stiff blades and cramp my legs pretty fast. I recommend these fins especially for older surfers.

Watch out if you have wide feet May 20, 2009

These are nice fins. I'd have loved them, especially with the fin keeper straps right on the fin. One big problem though, these are made for people with narrow feet and low insteps. I do not have either and had to return the fins. The were too tight on my toes, and bit into the top of my foot badly.
