| | Description | Together with BUMBLEBEE (sold separately), MIRAGE completes the AUTOBOT spy team. Where BUMBLEBEE focuses on information however, MIRAGE prefers sabotage. Smart and fast, he's always ready with a joke, even when the situation doesn't call for one. Though he is not totally dedicated to the cause, he cares deeply for his friends, and will do anything he can to protect them. His specialized electro-disruptor weapon can create complex illusions, and even allows him to turn invisible. | |

One of the best Transformer Classics figures Sep 06, 2007
By W. Rawlinson This figure may not look like it from online photos or by the fact that it hangs from the pegs in most retailers, but Mirage is one of the best Classics figures. The robot mode is incredibly poseable and just doesn't receive justice from the photos. The alt mode is well done and stays pretty faithful to F1 and other open wheel racers. A definite buy for collectors and kids, you won't be disappointed.
Transformers have changed my Daughters life and made her a better person. Dec 05, 2011
By K. Mcpherson This toy an updated version of one of the original G1 transformers. Collecting these and becoming interested in this has given my Daughter a hobby and moved her into a more responsible direction in her life.
More than a Mirage Jul 21, 2011
By Kevin M. When Transformers started relaunching G1 characters as modern, re-tooled versions in the Generations line I was stoked. Born in the early 80's I wasn't able to enjoy the original toys unless I went to older kid's houses. I loved the cartoon and the characters. Now with these toys, especially Mirage here, I'm able to enjoy and appreciate them as a homage as well as fully posable action figures that are able to capture the essence of the character in Robot mode as well as a realistic vehicle mode. Sweet!
Good robot mode, aside from small issues... May 25, 2011
By M. Ram I mainly got Mirage to help fill out my Autobot shelf, which I feel has some of the best figures in the Classics/Universe/Generations line. I wasn't crazy about this figure when looking at reviews online, but after some time transforming and posing him, he's actually pretty decent. There are some problems: the scoop at the front hinders tire clearance and looks awkward as a weapon; his head is super tiny and doesn't have much movement clearance; he has a rubsign on his leg instead of a proper logo on his roof/chest. I think the positives outweigh them though, as he has a distinct look in robot mode and I like his paint job and stickers as well as his transparent blue cockpit. The main draw is in his articulation, which is extensive and lets him pull off some cool poses. If they had scaled him down a bit he would fit in great with the Revoltech figures, but as it stands he still makes a good addition to the Classics Autobot team.

Pretty rad toy, front spoiler is all kinds of dopey Aug 06, 2007
By Justin Pierce So you'd assume a lanky figure like this would be crazy flimsy, but it seems to be holding up pretty well to repeated transformations. The back spoiler "feet" are a bit flimsy, but not terrible and the figure still stands solidly. However, the front spoiler detaches into a raygun or something, and it looks pretty dumb. They'd have been better off to integrate it into the figure than to make it snap off as an accessory. Why does a giant robot need a handheld gun anyway?
