The unique dome shape of this Speedo silicone cap all but eliminates the wrinkles that form along the center seam of almost all other swim caps. This translates to less drag and faster swims. As with all silicone caps, this design will not grab hair and is easy to get on and off. Silicone is also very durable and will last longer longer than any latex cap.

4Not bad for the price  Dec 17, 2009 By K. Bauer
I swim laps everyday, so I needed something that would simply make me a bit faster in the water. This product does that just fine. It traps air in it a bit too easily, but other than that no complaints.

3Some issues  Apr 26, 2009 By Staci Keller "Campbell Keller"
Well first of all I'm used to latex and regular silicone caps but have never tried the racer dome in competitions. After purchasing I discovered difficulty in stuffing all my hair underneath the cap (which I can usually do quite easily). Then in competition whenever I did flipturns it would fill up with water and rise off my head just slightly. Following those swims I decided to place my goggles on the outside of the cap and this greatly reduced the amount of water leaking into the cap. There was still water leakage but now I don't feel nervous coming off a wall that it's going to fall off. Maybe I got a too small of a size??
