I keep these pens in my bag, in my desk, in my night-table, etc... If there is something I need a pen for, this is the one to do the job better than any other. For writing checks, they are ideal because they are permanent, yet the point is fine enough to write as legibly as a fountain pen. For writing notes, they are ideal because the ink dries quickly and does not smudge from constant handling. If you address and envelope or package with a Sharpie, the writing will not bleed if in contact with rain or snow.

The Sharpie Ultra Fine is the perfect pen, and the 5 pack is a pretty good bargain. Consider the free shipping from Amazon, and there's no reason to waste a trip to the store!

The Sharpie Ultra Fine Point is my favorite pen in the world! In fact, it's the only pen I really need 99% of the time because the "ultra fine" point is fine enough to do most anything, like precisely sign checks with a smooth, even flow of black ink.

But then, when I need to label a backup data CD, I can write directly on the label side of the CD and the ink just stays there. The best of both worlds is the precision of a fine point pen and the versitality (writes on most anything) and durability (ink stays there permanently) of a Sharpie!!

These fine point black permanent market pens are fantastic basic tools for the home and office. You can use them to label camp clothes and kids' boots-- or address envelopes and business folders. Sharpies are the greatest permanent pens made, anywhere. And this is a terrific deal on basic black pens, good for labeling everything under the sun.
