I've ordered a few of these ata133 drives from amazon in the past few months. None of them have been ata133, they've all been ata100. I needed 133 for a RAID controller card and I was sadly surprised when both attempts to order ata133 resulted in receiving the wrong items. Two different sellers blamed amazon.com for the mistake, so be careful!
If you HAVE to have 133, go to a store. It may cost a bit more, but at least you'll know you're getting what you need.
Other than that....
the drives work great. Fairly quiet and included software so windows will recognize the 200GB size. No messin' with the registry if you're using it as a back storage drive.

Bought this drive last weekend and was reading a few things about it like that it was fast, but that it was a bit on the noisey side, but i have mine in one of those hard drive enclosures and i sit less than 3 feet away from it and i really have to strain to hear anything, in my opinion it is very quiet, and for the money i paid for it you just can't beat it, tech for less did an excellant job of describing the drive and i commend them for being a great merchant to deal with, i certainly will be looking their way in my future purchases

I installed this hard drive in an older system where the hard drive had crashed. It did the job, can't really say much for performance, b/c the ATA-100 (Parallel ATA) is a far outdated connection now, and should now be avoided when possible. But when we could not avoid the old technology, this hard drive fit the bill. Best I recall, it was not noisy, but not particularly noticeable at being different from other drives. It's just a run of the mill drive for similar drives, I believe.

This Hard Drive arrived quickly, well packaged, and in good condition...exactly as discribed. It has worked well for me. The computer I'm writing this review from is using it currently. I'd recommend it.
