Great sightseeing bag Jan 05, 2009
By jessieth My husband and I took one of these on a 17 day escorted tour of China. With the two water bottle pockets, we only needed one for both of us. The main compartment was big enough for a jacket and a collapsable umbrella or extra bottles of water and/or small purchases. The front pocket was good for the things I would have put in a purse and the back one for our guide book or literature picked up at the places we visited that day. I agree with the other reviewer that it is light and folds flat for packing in the big bag. As a bonus, with foam in the back that gives it structure, it really is soft enough to use as a pillow like the ad says!

Really liked many features of this bag May 08, 2008
By Traveler I wanted a lightweight bag that would hold quite a bit and would be easy to carry while hiking and this pretty much met my needs. I will use this bag again when I travel, but will maybe look for a backpack (much smaller) of the same material to use specifically when hiking. Also, I would have liked a zippered pocket inside the big portion of the bag. All in all a good bag.

Very practical - quality not as good as it should be May 03, 2008
By mrmikey A great shoulder bag with many pockets for organizing. It's extremely light when empty which makes it perfect to pack inside your big suitcase and then use for day-adventures. One of the zippers is not up to par - the "pull" keeps coming off. Otherwise the bag is great.

Great shoulder bag Oct 05, 2010
By suze321 I used this bag as a purse/day bag for 2 1/2 weeks on a European trip. The zippered sections helped keep everything organized and the bag itself is very lightweight. Can be toted on your shoulder or across your chest for more security.

Perfect travel Bag May 07, 2010
By Gail Young
"Traveler"
After spending hours reading reviews on travel bags for an upcoming 17 day trip to China, I decided on this bag. This bag is exactly what I was looking for. It's so light weight when empty and the fabric feels great. I was be able to fit everything I need in the bag for a day of touring. I also like that it holds 2 water bottles, since there are 2 of us. No other small bag had that. The back pocket is perfect for stashing passports and other documents that need to be handy, but kept safe and out of sight. The design of the bag is perfect for safely carrying in front and not worrying about pick pockets. There are also 2 smaller pockets in the front to keep all of my smaller items including my camera and phone handy without opening the entire bag. The padded shoulder strap is comfortable, but not very thick or padded. It's not very comfortable for a full day of touring if the bag is heavy (filled and with 2 water bottles in the side pockets). I bought a padded seat belt strap cover which uses Velcro to attach to a seat belt strap to make it more comfortable, and that worked perfectly. I got the slate and it is a nice dark gray. The design of the bag and the color options make it a nice bag for a male or female. I am 5'2" and I was able to adjust the bag to make the strap short enough for me, but I could also make it long enough for my 5'11" husband to carry. If you are looking for a smaller, lightweight bag that is big enough to carry everything you need for a day of touring, this bag would be perfect. If you need to carry a lot of items, and heavy or bulky items, this is probably not the right bag.
