| | Description | Classic Reebok style is back and is here to stay. The Club C Tennis Shoe is one of Reebok’s perennial bestsellers thanks to the classic styling and superior comfort. Soft leather is paired with classically styled overlays, stitching and perforations, full lace-up front, and contrasting colored terry cloth and fabric lining. Cushioned terry cloth tops the removable comfort insoles. Outsoles are high traction tennis-style with contrasting colors. About Reebok Reebok's United Kingdom-based ancestor company was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So, in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes. In 1958, two of the founder's grandsons started a companion company that came to be known as Reebok, named for an African gazelle. | |

Continue to lean on the old ways? Feb 16, 2010

"Keeping it real"
Call 'em throwbacks to an earlier era and it would be accurate. I've been wearing these shoes for tennis since about the early 80s and have yet to find anything as good in the interim. The 'Boks' are also good for wearing to the gym for weight training, cardio work on the various machines, or just knocking around on a weekend at the Mall or hangin' with your buds. In short, the shoes do it all and do it well for most any occasion, plus they still look retro cool.
I jazz mine up with some gel and foam inserts to help a little on the pounding of pavement. The leather provides more support than canvas, at least to me although that may be psychological in my case but I prefer the leather tops anyway. I'm guessing you do as well? They look better, last longer and simply 'feel' right.

Classic Reebok's Feb 03, 2009
By Deborah Mcgee

This is the only tennis shoe my husband will wear. I didn't know they were cheaper online rather than the retail stores. I received free shipping and handling so I didn't pay alot for them. They will last him for years. The size was correct, the shoe is the original Reebok that first came out is the reason they call it Classic.

Best shoes I've ever owned Apr 04, 2007
By Michael S. Crowder This is the fifth pair of Club Cs I've owned, the second in black. I believe they're the best combination of durability and comfort on the market. I'll undoubtedly buy another pair when these wear out.

Typical nice Reebok quality Jul 08, 2011
By T. Turney They are comfortable and still not worn out after two years of wearing them outside of work.
I am a software enegineer so I can pretty much where whatever I want. I save my reebok's for outside of work though becuase I work in the city and I have to typically walk 5 city blocks to my car. These reeboks have served me well.

Best shoe going on 26 years now Sep 10, 2010
By Gary L. Anderson I have worn this style of tennis shoe for over 25 years and can't imagine going without them. I have truly contemplated ordering 15 pairs to last me till I'm 60 but my wife thinks I'm crazy.
