Honestly, at first I was upset. When you plug it in and start playing you realize right away this game has the graphics of a NES, but when you are using a gun it's so much more fun than a gamepad. Makes the experience. Overall the game was fun but not really a value since a NES with a gun and a hunting game would give you overall the same results. One advantage is that it is plug n' play and can go anywhere. I got it for my dad and he loves it and can figure everything out so it's a winner.

My family loves this game. My husband, my 8 year old daughter and my 3 year old son love it. It's great because my son is even able to use it and shoot the deer. Every kid that has came over and played it, loved it. It's great b/c it has target practice and different level hunts so it's even fun for my husband and his friends. I have had it for 2 years now and have had no problems. Great product!

I bought this for my 6 yr old son bcause he enjoys going to the arcade and paying to play this game. My son, wife and i have a blast trying to outscore each other on on the different levels in this game. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have a blast and teach their children the correct way to handle a gun.

Great gun game for those that want something family safe. No violence or blood. Simple graphics which appear to be 16-bit (Old Skool MS-DOS or SNES games) so it is not the latest and greatest gun game (if you want that go by a Sony PS or a Wii). However it is an affordable and well worth playing game that can give you some basic hunting tips and is just fun if you want to shoot targets. Easy to use and simple to play.

A longtime fan of Radica games, I was impressed not so much with the graphics, (which are OK) but the ease of use and extended playability of this game. No two hunts are ever the same and there is target practice to get you used to shooting/aiming and to challenge others to beat your score! With a quick glance at the instructions, you can be off and hunting in a few minutes. It's ONLY drawback is that it works ONLY with old-style TUBE TVs --no flatscreens or plasmas...but if you have an old 19" or bigger set with RCA connections, you just put in the batteries, plug in the video and audio cables and turn it on and go! Fun for anyone from age 8 and above. Recently brought it out at my nephews 30th birthday party at my house and he said that he WISHED that we'd gotten him this game! He already has PS3 and XBOX! I'm in my forties and it is one of my favorites as well. The realism of the hunt and the fact that you cannot just walk around with the gun's safety "off" WOULD help to train a young hunter -- any of which would LOVE this game and it's built sturdy enough to last through the hours and hours of vigorous play-action (pumping and firing) that my unit has been subjected to! Especially in the target mode, the unit and YOU get quite a workout. Highly recommended!!
