I recently purchased this game for my 5 year old son and he loves it!
He understands how to play the game, but he also just likes to play with the Piranhas, flipping them and making them eat the marbles...
I would recommend this game to other parents.

I got this game for my neice and nephew because they really love their aquarium. They were in love with the little piranha's and how they "jump" out to get the little fishies. It really kept them entertained...and honestly it kept me pretty entertained too!! This was a great purchase!

This game is very simple to learn, quick to play and will be exciting and fun for young players. I'm surprised that the recommended age is 5 and up. I think any 3 yr old could easily play this game and have fun. This is a game of practically no skill and mostly luck. The flipping piranha's are activated by the basic "Plinko" effect. For those of you not familiar with "Plinko" it's when a ball rolls down a slope randomly due to small raised spikes which alter the route/direction of the ball. This action then taps the piranha beneath where a players fish marble is resting and may or may not cause the marble to flip into the slide tray below. If your fish marble tumbles down you have to restart from the bottom of the river. Object of the game is to be the first to get all 3 of your fish marbles up the slope (river?) to safety. A roll of the die (only has 1, 2, blue fish (do nothing), and Piranha fish (maybe a Piranha attack will occur) on the die. Very simple, repetitive quick game that will probably please only young players.

I recently purchased this game as a gift. The the kids were going crazy all weekend playing the game over and over, we couldnt pull them away. When we finally got them to sleep i got a chance to sit down with friends and play the game myself. I have to say, the game is very simple to play, and the construction and mechanism of it is clever. Above all it is a fun game to play whether you are a 6 year old or an adult. I have a feeling that when christmas hits this game will be flying off the shelves!!

I bought this game for my (just turned 4 years) son and he just LOVES this game. It is SO much fun. it doesn't take ages to play either.
Even his grandparents who aren't in to playing any type of games like this. I highly recommend this! the only thing negative is that on our game the 2 "legs" to the game don't really attache well but it doesn't matter as long as you don't pick it up (then they will fall out, one of them anyway) because you don't have the game up in the air when you play it. This game is a big hit in our house!
