| | Description | Our traditional wooden pasta drying rack is perfect for drying fresh homemade pasta. The eight arms are angled so they don't interfere with each other. Like traditional drying racks, the rack is made of unfinished wood so the pasta strands won't slide off. | |

Pasta Drying Made Easy! May 26, 2001
By Ana Prall The Norpro Pasta rack is great! What I like most about the drying rack is its easy to assemble, use and put away. Before I had to lay the pasta to dry on the counter, which in my kitchen is limited. Now it hangs nicely on the rack, leaving room to prepare the rest of the meal as the pasta drys.

Simple design, but very effective Mar 19, 2006

I love this pasta rack! Before I bought this pasta rack, I was forced to dry my pasta on the counter. I would sprinkle the counter with flour and then begin the layering of the pasta, the towels and the flour. In other words, it was a big mess. But now, since I bought the Norpro Pasta Drying Rack, pasta drying is a cinch and very easy to clean up. As soon as I roll out and cut the pasta dough, I simply drape it over the wooden dowels to dry. No flour, no towels, no mess. I usually make two lbs of pasta and have never run out of room on the rack. I know that the design is very simple and the wood is not the strongest on the market, but it really serves its purpose and serves it well.

Norpro Pasta Drying Rack is a lifesaver Nov 25, 2003
By Kala This is a great pasta drying rack! I have limited counter space, so I got one of these to help and it works SO nice! It's easy to set up, easy to use, easy to store - I don't have a bad thing to say about it. Highly recommend!

Convenient Jan 16, 2006
By Grissie This pasta drier is very convenient, but be warned that it is only big enough to hold about 4-6 servings of spaghetti. One thing I love about this drier is that it comes apart very easily with no tools and can be stored in a drawer.
Don't make your spaghetti too long or it will hang onto the counter.

I replaced it :-( Jun 01, 2008
By K. Wise The dowels did not fit firmly in the holes, so that they would slide when I was taking pasta on and off. Also, it does not store well, if one takes the dowels out, you need a rubber band or something to attach them to the post so you don't loose them. I'm afraid I got rid of it and replaced it with one of the ones where all the (plastic) arms spiral out, and the tripod feet retract in straight -- and that has tucked into the center pole a really handy rod for hanging and unhanging the noodles, which I find surprisingly useful.
However, if you were thinking about getting it, and storage is not an issue for you, and you don't mind fooling with it a little bit to get the dowels to stay firmly in place, there's no reason you wouldn't be happy with it.
