Best BT Headset I have tried. Aug 12, 2006
By Chromebook User I tried a few BT headsets and it came down to the Nokia BH-800 and the Jabra JX10. Both units have good audio quality. I also liked that both units are small. Thus, you don't look like you are on your way to a Star Trek convention while you are wearing them.
While I liked the JX10's design over the BH-800, it had trouble understanding my voice commands. I use Microsoft Voice Command with my XV6700 PocketPC phone. I had to speak to the JX10 very slow and clearly to achieve only a 50% success rate in it understanding my commands the first try and subsequent tries. The BH-800 understands my commands closer to 90% on the first try and 99% on the second try. I was also able to speak to it in a more "natural" fashion. I wonder if the Bluetooth 2.0 specification with EDR makes the difference.
Pros:
1. Good audio quality. People can clearly hear me and I can clearly hear them.
2. It's small. It's less "geeky" than some headsets.
3. The neck strap is a nice bonus. The headset stays in place.
4. My Microsoft Voice Command woks very well with the BH-800.
Cons:
1. I don't like the ring tone of the headset. I don't know if you can change it.
2. The neck strap could be longer.
3. I preferred the JX10's look and button layout.

Great Little Headset, except.... Mar 08, 2007
By Joarvonia Ashouri I really like the Nokia BH-800. I have a A900 phone from Sprint and with other headsets I frequently lost paring with the headset. I rarely have this problem with the Nokia. My only complaint is the in the ear piece -- it's to big for a normal size ear. I think Nokia had only men in mind when they design the ear piece. Even with the over the ear hook (which is optional) it still not a good fit; however it's a great fit for my boyfriend... but that doesn't help my situation since I got it for me.

Nokia got it, almost! Aug 13, 2006

I've bought Bluetooth headsets in the past and didn't like them much. I've used friends, and the one I like (Plantronics Voyger 510) was just too big. Hated the last one I bought (Motorola H3) I ended up taking it back the same day. This one is pretty expensive, but sometimes you get what you pay for.
pros:
volume is great, much louder then the Motorola's I've used
size is good, it fits perfect on my ear.
looks great
pairs quickly with my Motorola Q
love the neckstrap
supports audio streaming if your phone does. I can hear my mp3 ringtones threw the headset.
cons
seems to have a bad problem with noice canceling, people always comment on things in the background, like a TV. But it's not extreme
if it's not paired, and the phone rings it takes a few seconds to pair back up, but this isn't a headset issue, BlueTooth is like this with all headsets.
After about 5 days with it, I love my BH-800, it's going to hard for any company to top this.

Nokia BH-800 Bluetooth Headset Feb 20, 2007

I have always been very happy with and loyal to Nokia phones. This is my first Nokia Bluetooth and I am quite satisfied with it as well. I have only ever used Motorola Bluetooth headsets before and was very dissatisfied. The clearity, both incoming and transmiting is far superior. The ease of use is great also. My only complaint is the ear attachment, I could not get it to stay on my ear. I solved that problem though with some parts salvaged from my old Motorola HS850.
Great Product!! Would get 5 stars if not for the ear attachment.

Great Little Bluetooth Headset Jan 03, 2007

This is the best bluetooth heaset I have owned. Pairing is quick and simple, voice quality is excellent. The size and fit are amazing. I was truly impressed by how small this headset was, yet it fit inside my ear. If you are worried about it falling out, there is an optional ear loop that comes in the box. The only negative is that outside noise and wind are easily picked up by the sensitive microphone, but that is pretty standard for a lot of bluetooth headsets.
