Lee Boot cut jeans are really well made. They are not cut with a relaxed fit like most pants are today. The do shrink some in the wash, expect nearly an inch in length and 1/2 - 3/4" in the waist. Pricing on Amazon is as good as anywhere I've seen,

After first losing 70 lbs, I replaced my size 46 jeans with Levis sz. 36 "Loose Fit" (Model 569). Then I managed to lose another 20 lbs & could no longer wear anything that was "Loose Fit" or "Relaxed Fit." I was looking at Levis again, but the quality & material were not the same, but the price was the same. Their material is now noticeably thinner & flimsier. I tried on a pair of "Lee" jeans & I wasn't expecting much since they were about half the price of comparable Levis. What a pleasant surprise! The material of Lee jeans is more like what Levis jeans used to be, so I ordered five pairs from Amazon. Four were perfect size & one was a bit smaller, but still OK. I have worn & washed them three times without any fading or shrinking. I think Levis didn't do themselves any favors by cheaping out on their product.
