4Very Creative  Jan 14, 2008 By M. Haynes
This is a very creative project for your child to enjoy. Although it is a bit smaller than I had thought and thus difficult to put some colors in the tiny spots, my daughter has loved it. It has steps to follow for each color and section and even though my daughter changed each color as she went (she likes her creative individuality!), it was still helpful to see which color should be put before another. If you have a child that doesn't like to take their time and would just throw the fusion over the mold, then this would probably be a waste of money. My daughter and I have made this into a mother/daughter time and it's been very enjoyable.

1Modeling with Chewing Gum  Apr 13, 2009 By Colleen Hunt "NorthernDesign"
My daughter received this as a gift. It is horrible. It is smaller than pictured, and the detail work is impossible. The "clay" is like trying to model with chewing gum. It does not smooth out and tears easily. The finished project looks like some abstract mess.

The idea is good. If the mold was larger or inverted where you could mold into rather than on the surface it would be better. The clay is just dismal.

Do not buy this, it is a waste of money.

2Model Magic dries out too quickly.  Apr 08, 2009 By HattieNC
Doesn't cling to plastic surface properly and the model magic dries out too quickly. Not a very good purchase.

2Smaller than pictured, detail impossible  Dec 28, 2008 By WHATdoYouCare "whatdoyoucare"
This toy was received as a gift for my 4 year old. Even though the box says 6+ I figured we could give it a try. There is no way to get the detail that is pictured on the box. If it was a reverse mold, sure, but it is not and there is no way. I would like to watch someone at crayola do this. My DD was very disappointed. I did most of the work while she played with the colors. I am well past 6 and a cake decorator... even I could not make this look like the box.
