good quality, however... May 02, 2006
By Jeff Russo The Good: I've had this cover for about a year, and it has withstood Chicago's harsh climate quite well, hot sun and freezing rain included. Not a single rip or blemish, and it cleans easily. I previously had a flimsy black cover (same price) that cracked and ripped and always looked filthy. This is a good price for quality material.
The Bad: As others have noted, it's not "Mountain Green". It's not any kind of green! Cheap overseas production is probably to blame for this baffling discrepancy. Why market it as green, when it's not? Sloppy management! Personally, I prefer the tan/taupe color. But I wouldn't fault anybody for being angry, especially if they're trying to match outdoor furniture.
Also, it should be a bit longer, or at least have a drawstring. My grill is about 46" high, and the cover left a few inches exposed on the bottom. The problem here is that moderate wind can blow the cover loose. Before I rigged my own drawstring, my cover had blown completely off twice, and several times it rode up on the grill which partially exposed it to rain.
5 stars for fair price and good material. minus 1 star for ridiculous color mismatch minus 1 star for lack of drawstring/short skirt
3 stars.
edit: It's been three years and the cover is starting to show some normal wear and tear. The plastic material that runs along the seams is discoloring and cracking. But there are no holes or rips and the fabric still looks decent. Durability has proven to be good and I expect it to last a few more years.

Great Grill cover Dec 31, 2004
By Woodsey As stated in other reviews, the colors of the actual cover are not quite as shown - it is actually a drab olive brown with an off-white center - which is more to my liking than the picture.
The material is substantial and I am expecting it to last for years. This is a good value for the money!

Looks good but too wide and too short Jun 05, 2005
By Hillbilly Funk I purchased this after reading the rave reviews from other owners. Although the material and the olive green color were very high quality, the size didn't work. The piping around the edges doesn't sit right if you have a 61" grill like we do -- looked silly. Was also disappointed in the length -- left about 8" exposed at the bottom and we need the coverage for our rainy climate. Lastly, for the price, I'd think they'd include some type of drawstring or something at the bottom to keep it just from flapping in the breeze. Had to return it. Good idea if your grill is closer to 65" in width and unexposed coverage at the bottom doesn't bother you.

Talk about quality! Dec 30, 2004
By L. Calhoun This is the nicest grill cover I've ever seen. It's thick, heavy, durable, and soooooo much nicer than those black plastic covers I've purchased in the past (and cheaper, too)! I don't think this one will be ripping any time soon. Honestly, the color is fine. This one could be pink and purple and I would readily buy another!

Char-Broil 65-Inch Artisan Grill Cover - Fabulous! Oct 23, 2005
By Judy This is a heavy duty grill cover that has been withstanding weather for several months, and so far it's been holding up perfectly. It is very thick. We're very happy with this purchase, and the price we paid!
