A money-making ripoff Dec 26, 2008
By E. Orgon Having had four children and now 5 grandchildren, i feel i know something about toys, quality and yes, unfortunately, ripoffs. And Tomy is the latter. If you want to disappoint your children or grandchildren buy these refills for the shoddy sticker maker. before you know it, it will run out and the children will be clamoring for more for big bucks (half the price of the sticker maker). Limited instructions become a disaster if little hands touch the refill before loading. then its right into the trash -- money down the drain. stay away from this entire product set, and especially those sellers who are trying to rip people off by charging inflated prices.

Not worth it. There are WAY better toys out there Jan 07, 2009

I don't know who's doing the ripping off here, but really, don't insult us buy making the replacement products 150% more than the cost of the toy. It's not even all that great. The sticker part does work and it's cute for all of 10 minutes, but there's not much to it.

A waste of money Jun 25, 2010
By Rachel Raifman The sticker maker is junk. It is hard to use and not well built. When we bought it at Toys R Us the refills we expensive, and they do not make very many stickers. TRU discontinued them. To think of paying $20 for this is crazy. We tossed the sticker maker. That is where it belongs.
My 7 year old daughter loves it... Jan 08, 2010
By Karen B I agree with the positive product review. Yes, the refills are a bit expensive. However, I was able to locate a bunch of refills in TRU store for $5.95. That price made it more palatable. My daughter loves to draw and the ability to turn her creations into stickers and magnets; well, pretty much makes her happy as a clam. Being an avid scrapboooker, actual machines and refills like these run a bit more, so I was willing to pay so my daughter wouldn't take mine. Overall, it's safe for her to use (my sticker maker machine you could possible cut yourself with), can make both stickers or magnets (which mine does not do) and it's durable. We couldn't be more pleased.
16 year old LOVES this toy! Oct 07, 2009
By Mainer I totally disagree with the other reviews. Granted, my daughter is 16 and still loves to make stickers for her notebooks, etc. While the refills are expensive, it has held up very well and gets repeated use. These "toys" are just for little ones...big kids love them too!
