The Best Goggles Oct 09, 2007
By Nom de Plume Aqua Sphere Mako Clear Lens Swim Goggles Aqua Sphere Mako Clear Lens Swim Goggles are the best goggles I've ever used. The soft, water-tight seal around my eyes is PERFECT. They exert not the slightest amount of pressure on my eye sockets for up to 1 1/2 hours of non-stop lap swimming. The underwater visability they afford is sharp and clear. They are absolutely the best---and they cost almost nothing.

These goggles are rated a 5 out of 5 for many reasons. They don't leak. The clarity is amazing in the water They are the most comfortable pain-free goggles I've ever worn during my 25 years of swimming They are not expensive (I paid $15 at the local swim store) The quality of the constructed material seems to be of very high quality. They are so easy to don and take off (there is a quick release mechanism allowing you to loosen/tighten the straps while they are on your face) The style is not boring/dorky/excessive, but just perfect.
I like the fact that it has a continuous nose connecting piece (non-adjustable) because it distributes the pressure on your eye sockets evenly and the rubber gaskets seal to your face comfortably and efficiently.
