It floats, is streamlined, but nicks easily. Mar 08, 2007

This item garners the same complaint that I have with the Aqua Sphere pull buoy: it floats, is functional, but nicks/gouges very easily. I try to keep this away from the sharper objects in my swim gear bag (snorkel, fins), but it still gets dented, nicked, scratched, and gouged. Regardless, it works quite well and I really like the smooth underside, the ribbed handholds, and the ample crescent at the base (perfect for kicking with my head down into the water). One of the best parts is that it isn't as small as a kid's kickboard, but it's not huge, either. Really good product overall.

Get what you pay for Jan 19, 2010

I needed a basic kickboard on the cheap, and that is what I got. Its made from a very light foam and is a bit smaller in size then the average kickboard. I swam competitively so I just wanted something basic for my arms to hang onto during kick sessions. I know swimmers with less experience tend to prefer something that is more supportive so they can really put a lot of weight on. If thats you-you probably want to pass on this. If you're looking for something small and light- this is perfect.

Swim like a fish Nov 14, 2008
By Elaine Balesteri Great kick board!! I like it better than the old styrofoam ones. Had great fun working out in the pool this summer.

Little, but fun Aug 16, 2007
By D. Gorman At first I thought this would be too small, but it actually has worked out very nicely. I use it with my fins to swim laps around the pool.

A marvelous tool Dec 13, 2006
By RRobin This kick board is as advertise--sleek looking, yet quite functional. It fits into a regular backpack unlike many kick boards so it's easy to carry.
