5Makes swimming with a cap more fun  Mar 01, 2008 By Harmony
I was looking for a swim cap that wouldn't be so tight on my head and wasn't too difficult to put on. I don't know of any cap that keeps the water completeley out, but this one does quite well. I am also finding that I very seldom get water in my ears. If I do, it usually means that that cap has shifted on the ears slightly - my fault of course (I lift up the ear areas to hear people talk better). Once I readjust the ear area, I'm water free again. The top and back of my head stay completely dry. The only place it might get wet is at the bottom neckline - again, I think it might be from me lift up the ear areas. All-in-all, I think it's a great swim cap.

5Excellent hair protection for big heads!  Aug 26, 2007 By Andrea Schwartz "Andrea"
I am 5'11 and have a slightly larger head than the average 5'2 swimmer. This cap is easy to put on, and covers my long curly hair completely. Happy swimming!

5Master swimmer  Aug 15, 2008 By R. Scott
Good fit. The "ear cups" do provide a better fit and slightly better protection of the ear (I tend to get water in my ear even wearing a cap and ear plugs). The inside surface is not smooth like most caps; it has a dimpled surface that helps keep the cap in place once it is on. Nice color (blue). There is a small tab on the back center of the cap giving you an easier spot to grab for adjusting cap position on your head.

1Not what I expected!  Sep 22, 2010 By S. Reno "Granny"
First off: I swim laps so my head is in the water, not water aerobics. I got this cap thinking it would keep my hair dry as my old cap never did. It was so tacky/sticky I never should have tried putting it on, but I didn't let that deter me as I was on a quest for dry hair! I wrestled with this thing for 10 minutes. I never got it fully on and when I tried to take it off it took bunches of hair. It just wouldn't let go of my hair. I even had a hard time pulling them off the cap! OMG! I could go bald!!!

I now use it with good results by first putting on my old cap, which I got at Walmart and has sort of a cloth texture (don't remember the brand), then I put this cap over it. I was surprised! My hair is relatively dry and this cap doesn't get near my hair!!! A lot of work for dry hair. Is there a cap that is easy to put on and keeps the hair dry?? I would love to know what one it is!

Would I buy another one like this? No! Would I recommend it? No! However, I have it and I am using it. So if you have it, you could try my method. :-\

1Split  Oct 20, 2007 By cattoo
I had high hopes for this swim cap. I used it the second time yesterday and while putting it on, it split apart near the ear area. I don't believe I was pulling it particularly hard (plus I have a small head). The material just tore apart, rendering it useless. I'm really sorry this happened. I'll just stick to cheaper swim caps.
